THE LEGEND OF LITTLE FINGER

             A long time ago, there lived a Princess in China’s Kingdom. The princess was so pretty. She has a long hair, bright skin and also a beautiful smile. And there were so many princes from the other kingdom who came to met and asked her to be their wife. But, because of there were so many princes, so the Princess made some competition for them.

            On the last day of competition, the five Princes gathered at the Princess’s garden.

            “First of all, congratulation for your brave and your spirit so you can stand on this stage. Ok, for the last test, I want you to guess which finger I hide on behind of my back!”

            “Ahh, this one?”

            “Hhaha, no..”

            “How about this one?”

            “Umm, not that one..”

            “Umm, okay, I guess..”

            “No!”

            “Uhh, umm, I know, I know, don’t tell me, I know, Umm, this one!”

            “Yaa, but not that one..”

            The Princess began to anxious when she saw that there was only one Prince left. But fortunately, the last Prince showed his little finger.

            “Yeahhh! That’s what I looking for!” The Princess tied her little finger to his Prince, and the next day, they married.

            But unfortunately, one week after that, there was a war on the end of the kingdom, so the Prince had to go and lead their force.

            “Hhuhu, I’ll miss you, we just’ve met but now you have to go. Let me go with you!”

            “No, this war is so dangerous, just stay and wait for me. I’ll come back for you. I promise.”

            The Prince tied his little finger to Princess’s little finger then went away.

            One week became one month became one year and that was become five years time the Princess spent to waited  the Prince. Because the Princess still pretty and looked young, there some Prince who came and asked to marry her again.

            But because she couldn’t move on and still in love with her prince, so she just would accept a man who know what would he do when she showed her little finger.

            So there are some Prince and man who came and try it.

            The Princess showed her little finger.

            “Ohh, ya, I’ve prepared these rings for you.”

            The Princess dropped all the rings. “Sorry, that’s not what I want.”

            But when the dusk came, a beggar came to the kingdom and asked to try the test. But, the kingdom’s guard didn’t let him in.

            “Hey, this test isn’t for you!”

            “No, let him in. This is free for everyone to enter this test.”

            So, the Princess showed her little finger, the beggar showed his little finger too then tied it to Princess’s little finger. And unexpectedly, the beggar open his ugly hat then showed his face. That was the Prince! The princess was very happy. She hugged the Prince and cried in his hug.

            In the night, the Princess woke up from her sleep and saw no Prince beside her.

            “Hun, Hunny where are you?”

            The Princess then find that the Prince was standing near the window.

            The Prince then said. “Hun, do you remember the story that the spirit will go to the heaven until the fourtieth day it died?”

            “What do you mean?”

            “This is my fourtieth day and I’ve keep my promise to come back for you, so, I have to go now.”

            “Wh-what do you mean? Yo-you are just a spirit? O-okay, because you’ve keep your promise to meet me, so now I’ll promise to go for you.”

            The Princess then tied her little finger to the Prince before the spirit disappeared.

            On the next day, the emperial soldier brought the Prince dead body. With a cup of poison, the Princess walked over it and drank the poison.

            And finally from this story, we can take that a promise is a big responsibility that we have to keep it. So, that’s all the story.
